Getting started
MakeMerge helps you design with AI, import existing sites, export free React, and push editable WordPress pages — with drafts and rollback built in. This guide walks through your first session from sign-up to a preview you can share.
Create your account
Create your account at makemerge.com/sign-up. No credit card is required to explore the builder or export React. Connect WordPress when you are ready to push; bring an AI key or buy credits before heavy chat generation.
Create a project
After sign-in, open the dashboard and click New project. Name it after the client or site — you can organize projects into folders later. Every project gets a live preview URL you can share internally before anything touches production WordPress.
Choose a starting path
Pick one of three starting paths: describe a layout from scratch in chat, import a URL you own, or connect an existing WordPress site to redesign. You can switch approaches mid-project — imports and chat edits coexist in the same builder.
